About Me
Deborah Morrish is an adjudicator and humanitarian consultant based in Toronto, Canada. A mother and volunteer as well as former educator, she has dedicated her personal and professional life to making the world better.
Deborah earned a number of degrees in her quest for education and lifelong learning, including HBA, BEd, BSc, as well as two masters degrees. In addition to her degrees, she earned the Management for Executives certificate from the Canada School of Public Service as well as a Diploma in Studies in French at La Sorbonne, Paris. She holds an Alternative Dispute Resolution Certification Parts 1 & 2 in Toronto, Ontario.
She became a career adjudicator over 35 years ago, first serving as vice chair of the Ontario Social Assistance Review Board and then as the Assistant Deputy Chair of the Immigration and Refugee Board and most recently as a consultant to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in South Africa.
Deborah has dedicated most of her life to advocating for refugees caught in the human struggle, who are trying to obtain safety for themselves and their families.
